Ciconiidae represents handbags that are passed down through generations. Inspired by traditions and shaped by innovative design, the brand creates handbags that tell stories. The name, derived from the Latin term for the stork family, pays homage to the founder's family name, Störchli, and reflects values such as grace, durability, and tradition. Each handbag is carefully and precisely handcrafted in Switzerland, inspired by the diversity and beauty of nature.
MY STORY
Even in my early youth, I was fascinated by leather. Through equestrian sports, I spent countless hours caring for saddles and bridles, inhaling the unmistakable smell of leather, and admiring the precision of craftsmanship. Later, I discovered my passion for luxurious vintage handbags, which inspired me to dream of creating my own bags that could tell stories.

This dream became a reality with Ciconiidae. I have been in the fashion industry for over 20 years and during this time have developed a keen eye for colors, shapes, and materials. During my studies in Textile Business Management, I realized how important it is for me to create something that not only stands out aesthetically but also holds meaning for the people who carry it.​ "My wish is to create handbags that are not just luxury products, but loyal companions for life."
